FP Study Circle is a Mumbai based closed group of professionals, who are connected with  financial advisory businesses, with an inclination towards financial planning

The Study Circle has been in existence since 2014, and is a small, yet self-sustaining community of members who can contribute to each other’s work by building robust & ethical practices, and providing thought leadership to the community. We currently have more than 65 members, including many leading lights from the fraternity.

The FP Study Circle Committee organizes monthly meetings every 2nd Thursday for its members, where we have both, internal and external speakers sharing their views, thoughts, and best practices for members to learn, discuss and apply to their practice.

Our members are primarily financial planners, advisors and personal finance professionals who believe in and practice the philosophy of keeping the clients’ interest first. Some of our members are accomplished authors and some are active in print, online, digital, audio and television media around the year. We meet once a month, on the 2nd Thursday of every month, physically, at Indian Merchants’ Chamber, Churchgate, Mumbai with one purpose - 'Enriching Knowledge Together'.

We encourage each member to deliver at least one session during any of the meetings, in the year.
As mentioned earlier, we conduct our meetings at IMC in Mumbai. However, considering the lockdown, we are conducting our monthly meetings online.However, this is primarily a group that believes in meeting physically. The online sessions are add-on sessions.

Monthly Sessions

At FPSC, we host monthly meetings featuring both internal and external speakers who share valuable insights across diverse domains. These sessions serve as a platform for continuous learning, professional growth, and meaningful networking. Members benefit from expert perspectives, practical knowledge, and engaging discussions that enrich their personal and professional journeys.

Special Sessions

FPSC conducts ad-hoc online / in person meetings that are separate from the regular monthly gatherings. These sessions are organized to address timely topics, emerging trends, or specific member interests. They provide added value through focused discussions, expert insights, and interactive learning opportunities beyond our scheduled calendar.

Today’s Read

Twice a week, under an initiative called “Today’s read”, we share articles and blogs written by various national or international experts. Under this initiative, we also share articles written by our group members.

Off-site Meeting

We aim to conduct one or two off-site meetings, where the members travel to a destination closer to Mumbai. Various business and fun sessions are conducted there over a period of two days.

Recreational Activities

We also conduct a recreational activity in order to increase the bonding among the members of the group.
